Microfiction: Rosewell, New Mexico in similar words

(The show is based on a real-life "UFO" incident that happened in Rosewell, NM, image provided by Wikimedia Commons)

Two-sentence Story: Liz fell to the grown as the bullet shot through her heart but Max, realizing that he had to save her, did what he hadn’t ever done. He reached over her heart and using his internal energy, healed the bullet wound, and saved her.

Drabble: Max and Liz were in the dinner, when a stranger shot through the window, hitting Liz in the heart. It was a crime of racism as Liz’s family was Hispanic and some townspeople were trying to get them out. Max reached down and using his internal energy, saved Liz. Something he had never done before because the energy creates a bond between the people and could reveal his secret. But he loved Liz and could not imagine losing her. As Liz started to regain consciousness, she woke up bewildered at what happened. She did not know what happened to her.

Authors Note: During quarantine, I have been watching a lot of Netflix, but one shows I recently got into is Rosewell New Mexico. They just started season 2 on The CW and it’s pretty good. The story is about Alien who feel to earth and now live like normal people in a town called Rosewell and is actually inspired by a crash that happens in actual Rosewell, NM in 1947

I am not a big sci-fi fan, but this is a really good show and I would recommend it! For my Microfiction, I decided to tell the same story two-sentence stories (instead of counting words, you count the sentences) and drabbles (no more than 100 words). I am writing about one of the first scenes in the show, where Max(alien) saves Liz (human) (the main characters) when she gets shot at and forms an emotional bond by the energy transfer. I don’t think it was too hard to write either, but I think the drabble encompassed more emotions!
